Chapter 91
(…)
“…Do not touch me.”
Chu Chisi suddenly broke away from Tang Li’s hand, her breathing trembled slightly, her chest kept rising, and her voice was hoarse: “Don’t…”
Tang Li interrupted her: “Chu Chisi, I’m your wife.”
“I’ve known each other since I was a child, and I’ve been with him for many years, and I can’t be more familiar with him – my wife in reality.”
Tang Li said, and slowly clenched his fists. She looked into Chu Chisi’s eyes, and the darkness in them burned her, making her flesh charred.
“It’s not the so-called raiders who wear my skin and use you, hurt you, and betray you for various trumped-up reasons.”
She narrated calmly: “I care about you, I care about you, and it is absolutely impossible for me to ignore you.”
Tang Li’s words were clearly the softest voice, but they were incomparably clear and powerful.
Chu Chisi lowered her head, and the bed under her fingers was wrinkled, like a ball of paper. She didn’t raise her head, nor did she have the courage to look into Tang Li’s eyes.
“I…I just…”
She kneaded the sheets, her voice became more and more lack of confidence, and whispered sophistry: “I’m just a little…”
Tang Li said, “What?”
Silence, long silence, Chu Chisi hoarse: “I, I just want to verify some… things.”
She wasn’t telling the truth.
But in fact, the answer couldn’t be clearer. Once, twice, three times, it was repeated over and over again, and the messy and chaotic memories were hidden in her mind, slowly eating away at her sanity.
[Chu Chisi has been a little confused, what is false and what is reality. 】
Those repressed, dark, unbearable, and embarrassing emotions, like a volcano hidden in the deep sea, will eventually erupt one day and devour her completely.
Tang Li had “lost” her too many times, and she would never, ever allow something like that to happen.
(…)
The extremely deep, extremely deep silence was like the vast and boundless sea, the sea water wrapped her tenderly, spread over her limbs, spread over her waist, and drowned her to the top.
Chu Chisi plunged into her arms and hugged Tang Li tightly. She was crying, she was trembling, her body temperature was already low, and at this time it was even more cool, dripping in her arms.
“Tang Li, Tang Li…”
Chu Chisi’s voice was completely hoarse, she leaned on Tang Li’s shoulder, tears dripped through the clothes, drop by drop, layer by layer, full of thoughts and worries, all folded into flowers.
The sound of “Tang Li” was embedded in the depths, and it had nothing to do with wind and moon, love or desire, just a subconscious, whispered name that made her heart tremble.
Tang Li lowered her head, wrapped her arms around her shoulders and neck, and slowly pulled Chu Chisi into her arms, her knuckles covering her head, hugging her tightly.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Chu Chisi’s mind is in a mess, and people are in a mess, and he only knows to apologize, “I really know I’m wrong…”
Tang Li asked, “What went wrong?”
Chu Chisi grabbed her collar and wrinkled the fabric. Maybe because she couldn’t breathe, her voice stuttered a bit, “I shouldn’t have touched… the knife.”
She lowered her head and muttered to herself, “I…I shouldn’t have the idea of cutting myself.”
Tang Li asked again, “Chi Si, how did I tell you in the tattoo mirror before?”
The memories that were usually very clear and connected in series have turned into a mess at this moment, except for that incident, she can’t remember anything.
The tip of Chu Chisi’s nose was red, and the lips were about to bleed: “I…I don’t remember, I can’t remember…”
The pale pear fragrance suddenly leaned over, and something warm touched her cheek, the touch made Chu Chisi shiver, and only then did she realize that it was her fingertips.
Tang Li slowly took off the black blindfold.
A large amount of light suddenly rushed towards her, Chu Chisi couldn’t help but closed her eyes, her eyelashes soaked with tears drooped down, and her cheeks were stained with water.
“It’s okay,” Tang Li said softly, word by word very slowly, “If you forget, I’ll say it again.”
Chu Chisi opened his eyes and looked at her blankly.
Those eyes were extremely clean and clear, and the corners of the eyes were dyed with peach blossoms.
There was a thin layer of red on her skin, and the tips of her ears were also stained with water-colored red. Tang Li pinched her cheeks gently, making a small ball.
“Chi Si, I care about you very much,” Tang Li said slowly, “I don’t want you to receive any, even the smallest damage.”
“I hope you can be well, be happy every day, not worry about things, and not become restless due to outside interference.”
Chu Chisi looked at her, her eyelashes moist.
Those tears were kissed away by Tang Li, her slender hand stroked her forehead and brushed the wet ink hair to the side.
Tang Li said softly, “Chi Si.”
“A wound is a wound, there is no big or small difference. This is not the world of tattoos, you don’t have a second chance.”
The touch was too soft and too warm, and it filled the empty heart at once: “You can’t get used to the body that can be reset by this sentence.”
Chu Chisi nodded: “Okay…Okay.”
Tang Li stroked her forehead and added, “Chi Si, you can’t make a habit, let alone hurt yourself.”
She had a thick voice and bit her ear softly: “Chi Si, promise me, okay?”
Chu Chisi nodded casually.
Tang Li leaned down and kissed the corners of her eyes softly, but she could stir up turbulent ripples on the water’s surface.
(…)
The gentle room light fell on her body, Chu Chisi raised her head, and she was surrounded by familiar furniture. She still remembered that Tang Li bought those decorations and paintings.
The frame was empty, and the watercolor painting that was supposed to be in it was gone. It should have been a silent sea with a small sailboat passing by.
The inside of the picture frame is very empty, but the memory is too heavy. The ship of Theseus has been broken and repaired, repaired and broken, and it is not the original appearance.
She needs brand new boards, shiny screws, and nice colors to fill those vacancies.
The hand she wants to rub her head, the gentle voice, the whisper in her ear, everything is fine, as long as that person is willing to hold her in his arms… everything is fine.
Very, very, very much wanted.
And she got her wish.
That person told her firmly: no matter what you are, I love you.
The long brown and golden hair spread out on her shoulders, and the slightly hard shoulder bones pressed against her lower jaw, but the hug was so soft and warm that it was startling.
Chu Chisi’s eyes were red, and she hugged her tighter.
The sky seems to be getting brighter gradually, and the black ink-like night has quietly faded away, and people outside the window are painted with paint, light pink, gentle water red, and brilliant gold. .
The next morning, Chu Chisi woke up alone, Tang Li was not by his side, and he didn’t know where to go.
The curtains were drawn, the glass was also opened a little, the breeze rustled the branches and leaves, and a little bird was standing on the top of the tree singing.
She rested on a fluffy pillow, with a dry and neat sheet under her body, and there was a slight aroma.
What is the aroma?
Chu Chisi lowered his eyelashes, buried himself in the pillow, pressed against the fabric, and sniffed the light fragrance on it.
The faint, sweet, fruit-like aroma was not the pear aroma she was familiar with, but more like an apple.
It is estimated that Tang Li bought the perfume.
Chu Chisi fell asleep for a while, and then slowly straightened up. She turned her head and suddenly noticed a slender glass bottle on the bedside table.
The water in the bottle is rippling, and a beautiful red rose is inserted. If you get closer, you can smell the light fragrance.
Chu Chisi couldn’t help but laugh a little.
She has no interest in decorations such as flowers, and she has always maintained a “buying back is a waste of money” attitude towards this dying plant.
People who ignore their own “questions”, diligently buy flowers every day, put them in, add water to them, and put their petals in a book to make dried flowers – who else can be except her wife.
The memories in my mind are a bit chaotic, not neat and orderly lines, but more like gears in disrepair, or a stack of dismantled and assembled building blocks.
Chu Chisi clutched her forehead, her knuckles pressed against her temples, she recalled some things, and couldn’t help falling into deep contemplation.
She just sat on the bed for a long time before she finally regained her senses and decided to take a shower.
There was no one by his side, Chu Chisi probed with his hand, and found that Tang Li was cold, either the person had left long ago, or he refused to sleep with him.
Chu Chisi was inexplicably aggrieved.
Where did Tang Li go? Yesterday I did such an outrageous thing, but today I don’t even have a shadow, it disappeared without a trace.
Yesterday was so crazy.
She bit her lip, stepped on cotton slippers, and walked out slowly against the wall, like a little old lady.
The door was pushed open, and there was a “click” sound, but the scenery in front of him made Chu Chisi froze in place.
The home has been changed from beginning to end, the furniture and decorations have all been moved, and the decorations hanging on the walls have also been changed, which is completely different from yesterday.
Tang Li was wearing a small vest and was sitting on the sofa cutting furniture packaging. Her long brown blond hair was tied into a ponytail and draped loosely on her shoulders.
“Chi Si, why did you get up?”
Seeing Chu Chisi standing blankly at the door, Tang Li threw the knife and hurriedly ran towards her: “Why don’t you call me.”
She stretched out her hand to hug Chu Chisi, but her hand just touched a lot of cardboard boxes, which were a little dirty.
“It’s only nine o’clock in the morning,” Tang Li said, “why don’t you sleep a little longer?”
Chu Chisi looked up at her, those black eyes were full of water, and there was an invisible layer of red in the eye sockets, as if tears were about to fall.
“Chi Si, what-what’s the matter?”
Tang Li couldn’t see her sadness the most, and suddenly became panicked: “Chi Si, I just changed the position of the furniture. If you don’t want to, I’ll change it back…”
It’s not over yet-
Chu Chisi threw himself into his arms.
She hugged Tang Li tightly, tears fell silently, her body trembled non-stop, as if it was about to shatter in Tang Li’s arms.
“It’s alright, it’s alright.” Tang Li hesitated for a moment, but patted her on the shoulder, “Chi Si, everything will get better slowly.”
Chu Chisi cried even more fiercely.
The back under the palm undulates, and the weak trembling penetrated into the fingertips, extending all the way to the heart, and every time she trembled, her heart hurt a little bit.
Tang Li coaxed for a long time before Chu Chisi slowly calmed down, her eyes were red, she raised her hand and wiped her eyes with her cuff.
“So many things…”
Chu Chisi was so dumb: “How long have you been doing it?”
Tang Li didn’t dare to say that he started changing furniture late last night, so he silently folded and said, “This morning, I got up early.”
Chu Chisi took a breath, and said in a muffled voice, “Time is precious, you, you…you don’t need to spend so much energy and energy on it.”
Tang Li couldn’t hold back and flicked her forehead: “Chi Si, what did you say?”
She shrugged her shoulders and said in a lazy voice, “I’m so busy, I just want to change all the furniture on a whim, what’s wrong?”
Chu Chisi bit her lip and didn’t speak.
“Speaking of which, I bought the whole set of furniture with small flowers,” Tang Li pointed to the cardboard box not far away, “Well, it’s all piled up there.”
Chu Chisi was stunned: “Have you bought it all?”
Although her mind was disturbed by Tang Li last night, she barely remembered the set of furniture she saw when she was shopping with Tang Li.
That set of Xiaohua’s furniture is very complete, at least 20 or 30 different pieces of furniture, Tang Li actually bought all of them? ?
Tang Li said, “Yes, I bought all of them.”
Chu Chisi was silent for a moment, and said, “Where will I put it after I buy it? The house is running out of space.”
The place where they lived was actually quite big. When they first moved in, it was very empty. Thanks to Tang Li, they had already been fully packed after so many years of marriage.
As a result, every time Chu Chisi was tidying up the basement and storage room, he opened the door and looked at a mess of cute things, only to feel that the whole person was not well.
Facing Chu Chisi’s question, Tang Li was very calm: “I haven’t thought about it yet, I’ll talk about it when I take apart the carton.”
Chu Chisi: “…”
Her magical and eerie golden retriever wife jumps between very reliable and extremely unreliable every day. .
Although Tang Yiqi agreed to Chu Chisi’s almost unlimited vacation, she agreed that she did not need to come to work until her body fully recovered.
But Chu Chi Si was thinking about Jing Fan, and after resting at home for a few days, he returned to the Beimeng Academy of Sciences.
In order to celebrate her return, the Beimeng Academy of Sciences, which has always been old-fashioned and serious, even held a welcome party for her for the first time ever.
So a very strange scene appeared.
A large group of old academicians and old scholars with white temples and smiling faces, with their fast and steady hands when operating the instruments on weekdays, couldn’t open fireworks after thinking for a long time.
The little assistant jumped up and down, shouted “I’m coming, I’m coming”, grabbed the fireworks cannon from the hands of the old scholars, and then pulled it away “bang-“.
Shining colored pieces and colored strips fell one after another, all sprinkled on Chu Chisi’s body, she smiled sweetly, and there was a sparkle of sparkling powder on the tip of her nose.
Tang Li stood beside him and laughed along: “Chi Si, welcome back, everyone misses you very much.”
Think late, think late.
This belated thought.
The room was full of large and small boxes, all of which were gifts prepared by everyone for her. Chu Chisi never thought that her “popularity” would be so high, and she felt a little embarrassed.
Since there were too many things and they were too heavy, Tang Li got a small floating platform and helped Chu Chisi transport all the things back to her laboratory.
According to Chu Chisi, an academician didn’t know what to give, so he simply bought a small laser machine for her, and the assistant of the academician whispered in her ear: “It’s good for roasting sweet potatoes.”
Tang Li: “…”
It turned out that the pie was also damaged!
The two walked towards the laboratory while chatting, and Chu Chisi unlocked the five door locks in turn, only to find that the two little assistants came earlier than her.
The two little assistants greeted each other one after the other, smiling brightly and overjoyed: “Sister Chi Si!”
Xi Bianpai was shy, she stood in the back a little embarrassed; while Paipai was more lively, she trotted over and wanted to give Sister Chi Si a bear hug.
Then she was shocked by the wife behind her.
Pai Pai’s hand was hanging in the air, and his expression was stiff: “Young Major General? Why are you here?”
Tang Li was half a head taller than Chu Chisi, standing behind her, shadows fell on her shoulders, and she smiled lazily: “Can’t you go on a business trip?”
Chu Chisi sighed, “Don’t be afraid of her.”
Pai Pai’s hands were shaking, thinking to Sis Chi, look back at your wife’s expression, how could you not be afraid of her? ?
“I have the admiral’s approval.”
Tang Li stepped into the laboratory with long legs, and walked into the laboratory with ease, “I will stay here during this time and serve as Chi Si’s temporary bodyguard.”
The two little assistants looked at each other, Paipai squeezed his eyes at Xibian, Xibian put his hand on his neck and made a swipe gesture.
Chu Chisi: “…”
What code are these two playing?
Tang Li sat with her legs folded, occupying half of the small sofa. She didn’t look like a bodyguard at all. She was so comfortable as if she had returned to her own home.
On the table not far from the side, there are a lot of documents and instruments neatly arranged, only a small nautilus made of porcelain is crooked and out of tune with the surrounding.
Tang Li took the nautilus and threw it in his hand. He asked with a smile, “Chi Si, when are we free to make another one?”
Chu Chisi said, “You can arrange it.”
The two little assistants were still winking silently, while Pai opened his eyes wide and pointed to his forehead; Xi Bian looked at her with a frown and shook his head.
Chu Chisi sighed helplessly.
“Don’t pay attention to Tang Li,” Chu Chisi put down her backpack and packed her things. “She’s not that scary, and she won’t bite. Just treat her as a mascot.”
Tang Li nodded: “What my wife said is right.”
Two little assistants: “…”
Miss Chi Si! How can there be such a scary mascot!
“Tang Li, don’t threaten them all the time,” Chu Chisi looked at the expressions of the two of them, a little dumbfounded, “I’m just two little assistants, what should I do if I’m scared away?”
Tang Li nodded again: “Okay, listen to my wife.”
Two little assistants: “…”
Looking at this obedient appearance, where is the major general who saw people kill people and killed Buddhas when they were connected remotely before!
Sure enough, as soon as Sister Chi Si came back, Tang Li’s temper immediately took a 180-degree change, and she was very good at talking.
The two damaged mirrors were returned and properly placed in the laboratory. Chu Chisi connected them to the computer and started a new round of debugging.
The three were busy repairing mirrors, while Tang Li was busy fishing, cleaning, cooking, hanging out, and taking the opportunity to rub, stick, and kiss his wife.
Every day is very full and full. .
Jingfan was severely damaged, and most of the code in it was lost. Although Chu Chisi has a good memory, it was a bit difficult for her to repeat it all over and over again.
Fortunately, Pai was there. Although this little girl is usually too lively and full of strange ideas, she is indeed a genius.
Although Xi Bianyu is not as powerful as her, she is more patient and careful. Chu Chisi has a colder personality, and only she can hold down Pai, so that she will not be too happy and mess up what was originally good. .
The group of three of them is centered on Chu Chisi, but the other two are indispensable, and it is precisely because of this that they can create a perfectly functioning mirror fan.
Another morning.
The sun is faint, the birds are singing and the flowers are fragrant.
Chu Chisi stared at the computer screen intently and was thinking about something when a hand suddenly stretched out beside her and placed the black coffee she had just brewed in front of her.
“Please.” Tang Li leaned down and kissed the tip of Chu Chisi’s ear, “Your coffee.”
Chu Chisi was a little itchy when she kissed her, so she couldn’t help shrinking her shoulders and holding up the coffee: “Thank you.”
The coffee was steaming hot and misty, Chu Chisi blew it and drank it little by little, his cheeks were smoked by the hot air, revealing some warm red color.
Tang Li hugged her from behind, leaning her head on Chu Chisi’s shoulder, her long brown-gold hair was scattered, and she looked at her like a golden shawl.
“Chi Si, how’s Jingfan’s repair?” Tang Li explained calmly, “I want to take you out for a walk and relax.”
Chu Chisi was holding the coffee cup, and his long sleeves covered the back of his hand, revealing only his reddish fingertips: “At present, one has been almost repaired.”
“We just tested it yesterday. The first mirror fan has been able to operate normally. It should be no problem to invest in the conscious body and build a water mirror.”
Chu Chisi explained: “However, the data in the tattoo mirror has been deleted so much that it may take a while to fully restore it.”
[Can you build a water mirror and invest in a conscious body? 】
Tang Li pondered secretly, rolled this sentence together in his heart, and then silently wrote it down.
Later, two little assistants also came to work in tandem. Xi Bian Pai always arrives ten minutes earlier, while Pai Pai always arrives for a little while at night.
Chu Chisi has a good temper and doesn’t care about these things at all. She pays a high salary, has flexible working hours, and has various subsidies. She even helps guide the thesis in person.
Other than having to deal with her golden retriever wife, which is a bit daunting, this is the perfect dream job.
The other lab assistants were envious.
While Chu Chisi was talking to Xi Bian, Tang Li glanced at the wall clock, guessing that it was almost time, and sneaked out of the laboratory.
She held her arms and waited at the entrance of the laboratory for a while. After a while, wearing a pair of extra-thick black-rimmed glasses, the little girl who was jumping and jumping appeared in sight.
Knowing that he was late again, Pai Pai was running in a hurry, his ponytail swayed in the air, but just before entering the laboratory—
Stopped by unexpected people.
Tang Li stood in the doorway, put her index finger on her lips, and made a “shush” gesture to Paipai, signaling her to follow him.
Pai froze for a moment, wondering if he had done something wrong:
Did she accidentally touch Sister Chi Si’s hand, or did she accidentally drink a sip of Sister Chi Si’s coffee – causing the Major General to come to kill herself?
Paipai was thinking wildly all the way, and he didn’t dare to let out the air, so he was dragged by Tang Li to a hidden corner, trembling with fear.
Unexpectedly, Tang Li’s voice was soft and even polite: “Paipai, can you do me a favor?”
Pai Pai was stunned: “Help?”
Tang Li nodded: “Well, it has something to do with Jing Fan.”
It turns out that the major general didn’t want my life! Pai Pai breathed a sigh of relief, as if he came back to life, and patted his chest: “Just say it!”
“That’s right, Chi Si mentioned it to me before,” Tang Li explained, “There is a mirror fan that has been repaired, so it’s time to build a water mirror, right?”
Pai nodded, “Yes, that’s right.”
The corner where they are located is very hidden and is a blind spot for surveillance cameras, and few people come over usually.
Even so, Tang Li was still careful everywhere, and while observing the surroundings, he lowered his voice cautiously: “Can you help me open the mirror fan without Chi Si?”
She said, “Can you use me as the core to build a layer of water mirrors, and then invest in other consciousness bodies?”
Pai Pai rubbed his head, a little bewildered: “Yes, yes, but why do you do this?”
Tang Li raised her eyebrows and smiled: “Guess what?”
Pai Pai whispered, “I can’t guess it either.”
Facing Sister Chi Si, this person was always sunny, like a sunflower, and like a golden retriever puppy. As a result, when it was changed to someone else, he always had a cold expression with a smirk.
It is simply a large double standard scene.
“You should know,” Tang Li leaned down and whispered to her, “Yin was recently transferred from Xingzheng and detained in an armed prison.”
With just a few words, Pai’s eyes widened in an instant. She slammed her hand over her mouth, and then whispered for a long time, “You, you want to—”
Tang Li raised her index finger, her soft lips sunk slightly with the fingertips, and her voice was soft like a whisper: “Shh.”
She arched her brows and smiled faintly. .
After the two murmured and conspired, they returned to the laboratory one after the other. Chu Chisi was still rebuilding the tattoo mirror with Xi Bian, and did not notice the “differentness” between the two.
The day passed so quickly.
When the two returned home, Chu Chisi went to take a shower, while Tang Li put on a small flower apron and went to the kitchen to cook.
In the pot, something was cooking, Tang Li turned off the heat and tasted it, then spooned a small spoon of salt, added it to the soup, and stirred it a bit.
There was the sound of the door opening behind him, and Chu Chisi slipped in wearing a bathrobe, her face looking flushed and her long eyelashes moistened with water vapor.
“Tang Li, what shall we eat tonight?”
She leaned over on tiptoe, her warm breath fell on her neck, and her fluffy cat claws scratched at you: “What is this?”
Tang Li scooped up a small spoonful, and after blowing off some heat, handed it to Chu Chisi’s mouth: “Bone soup is boiled, can you taste it?”
Chu Chisi drank the soup in small sips, her lips moistened, she licked it with the tip of her tongue: “It’s delicious.”
The tip of Yin Hong’s tongue slid over her lips, soft and flexible. Tang Li’s heart was also itchy when she saw that, she couldn’t help putting down the silver spoon and came over to kiss his wife.
A light and tender kiss.
Chu Chisi hugged her waist, and the moist water vapor on her body swayed over, mixed with a wisp of fine snow and light fragrance, hooking Tang Li’s fingertips.
“Tang Li,” Chu Chisi raised his head and asked softly, “Have you finished cooking?”
She was stepping on a pair of pale pink cat cotton slippers, which were bought by Tang Li for a couple. After Chu Chisi saw it, she disliked it for a while, and finally used it silently.
The porcelain white toes quietly threw off the slippers, and the soft skin came over, and the kitten rubbed against Tang Li’s ankle, itchy and itchy.
Tang Li’s throat was a little dry: “Well, it’s all done, but it’s better to eat it while it’s hot.”
um, yes.
It’s better to eat it while it’s hot.
Chu Chisi hugged her from behind and leaned her head on her back. The deep heartbeat sounded faintly, driving her breathing, driving her fingertips, and beating up and down.
Wen Liang’s fingertips came around from the back of the neck, pressed against Tang Li’s chin, and stroked a few times very lightly.
(…)
The air is full of the aroma of the food, wafting wisps after another, just smell it and know that it tastes very good.
Fragrant and soft, hot and hot.
Tang Li still smells of fireworks, which always reminds people of hot meals and the feeling of returning home.
The temperature in the evening is always relatively low. After no sunlight, the damp and cold air rises, urging people to go home quickly to warm up.
Hurry, hurry, hurry home.
The windows were open for ventilation, and the evening wind blew in bursts. The gauze curtains were filled to the brim and swayed into the house. After the wind stopped, it slowly descended back.
Chu Chi Si closed her bathrobe and wrapped herself tightly. She was nestled on the sofa like a small hamster, slightly hungry.
She reached out and patted her cheek, the skin under her palm was still extremely hot, as if it was about to melt.
Since the last “renovation”, their house has completely changed, and there is no trace of Villa No. 2.
new and beautiful,
A completely different home.
Everything around her has changed, only the person in front of her will not change, nor will she leave, she is still the same as she is familiar, she is still her golden retriever puppy.
Chu Chisi was in a trance when she suddenly heard a rustling sound. She tilted her head to look and saw Tang Li pulled out a small box.
The box is exquisite and meticulous, and there are many beautiful patterns on it. The dark green background color and pattern gold pattern look very quaint.
Chu Chisi tilted her head and looked at her.
When I bought new furniture before, Tang Li didn’t know how many things I bought. In short, the cardboard boxes were piled up in the two corners of the living room, and it took a while to remove them all.
Tang Li didn’t do this once or twice. She wanted to stuff things that were useless except cute at home every once in a while. She was a repeat offender.
Although Chu Chisi had a bit of a headache, Tang Li bought a lot, and she gradually got used to her wife’s preferences, and even recognized the “value” of some of Tang Li’s things.
She would never admit that she actually liked that pair of plush slippers that Tang Li bought.
Seeing the golden retriever’s wife turning over something in the box, Chu Chisi shifted, sat down a little, and peeked over her shoulder.
“What did you buy?” Chu Chisi asked.
Tang Li smiled softly at her, and sold her off: “You’ll know right away.”
She opened the small box and saw a string of large pearl necklaces lying in the soft silk satin, round and clear, with a little warm luster.
Tang Li picked up the “necklace”, and the plump and beautiful beads of different sizes collided with each other, making a lingering sound.
If the jade beads are soaked in water, I wonder if they can produce a similar crisp sound?
